School rules and regulations

All the parents and students are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the school strictly. These rules are the regulations are as follows:

  • Every student must attend school punctually and regularly. Leave shall only be granted for a proper reason.
  • Every student should carry his/ her school almanac to school every day.
  • Parents are requested to avail of school bus facilities to commute their wards to the school by reaching on fixed pickup point before 5 minutes of the arrival of the school transport. Non-bus commuters should arrive at school 10minutes before the first bell.
  • Attendance in the school assembly is compulsory. Students must keep a reverential attitude during the assembly routine and do nothing that may be detrimental to the devotional and moral tone of the assembly.
  • In case a student is unable to attend the school for a day or even for a part of a day, a note from the guardian is necessary. In no case, the student is allowed to go home without a parent's escort.
  • A student who is found to be irregular in his/ her attendance without bonafide reasons or any explanation from the guardian will be responsible for his/her academics and the resultant disturbances.
  • Observance of birthday, taking part in private excursions, preparation for an examination are not considered reasons for being absent.
  • Attendance of students on the opening day of the school session after each vacation is compulsory. Anything contrary to this must be intimated to the school well in advance. Otherwise, it will be considered punishable.
  • Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dresses. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions. Students who are not in proper uniform will not be allowed to enter their classrooms.
  • Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil desks or chairs or damage any school furniture or write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done by accident should be reported to the class teacher.
  • Any damage done to school properties will be recovered from the concerned student together with a fine imposed on his/her for such an offense. Anyone who notices something damaged should report the matter even if he/she does not know who has done it.
  • Students are not allowed to wear/bring any ornaments/ valuable articles to the school. 
  • No extra books, periodicals, magazines, sharp instruments, and newspapers of an objectionable nature, shall be brought to the school. Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments, valuables, electronic games, cellular phones, etc. to the school.
  • The school reserves the right to terminate the schooling of students with unsatisfactory progress in studies or if the behavior of students or parents is a bad percept for others.
  • Every student must attend all the school functions e.g. Annual Sports, Cultural evening, Independence Day, Republic Day programme, House competitions, Celebrations, etc.
  • A minimum of 75% of attendance is required for any student to get promoted to the higher class.
  • The student shall not be allowed to enter the school office without prior permission given for specific reasons only.
  • Students are not allowed to meet any visitors including parents/guardians during the school hours unless prior permission is sought.
  • Parents/guardians must check the Diary/Yearbook and sign it daily.
  • Students are not permitted to use motorcycles, cars, or any other vehicle.
  • The lunch box of the child should be packed neatly and separately with towels and should not be put with the school bag as it might spoil the books. Kindly ensure that the lunch box is filled with a balanced diet and as par the food menu.
  • Visits by parents during school hours are not allowed. To visit principal and teachers, parents are requested to take prior appointment from the admin officer/ In charges /Relationship manager for consultation. 
  • If there is an unsolved issue even after meeting with Relationship manager /AO/In charges Parents can meet the principal by taking a prior appointment from relationship manager or AO between 12 noon to 1 pm on all the working days.

Leave rules:

  • General information
  • No leave can normally be taken without prior permission.
  • In case the parents have to leave urgently in case of emergencies, information about the absence may be conveyed by email([email protected]). The leave application should be submitted by the parent, when the student resumes school.
  • Leave application should not be sent by email.
  • Half day leave will not be granted except in case of medical emergency.
  • In case of medical emergency, the parent has to come to the school to pick the child.
  • Applying for emergency (Exigency) Leave
  • 1 to 4 days
  • The leave will be approved by the class teacher on the leave application for.
  • More than 4 days
  • Leave application should be submitted by parents to the principal, to explain the circumstances under which the leave has to be taken in the prescribed application form.
  • Please use photocopy of the leave format given at the end of almanac.
  • Note:- Long leave during school working days will not be granted. Parents plan their leave in accordance with the school holidays.
